What etourist.com Offers for UK ETA Travelers

What etourist.com offers UK ETA travelers is a paid layer of help around a government application: a guided form, a human check, submission on your behalf and support while you wait. It does not issue the ETA, and it cannot speed up the Home Office. The table sets out each part of the service.

Part of the serviceWhat it involves
Guided online formRuns in a web browser, with no app to download
Specialist reviewChecks your details and documents and corrects common errors
SubmissioneTourist sends the application to the government for you
Progress trackingThe company follows the case and delivers the result
Support24/7 by live chat, WhatsApp or email
Denial ProtectionAn add-on that returns the service fee if the government refuses

The Review Step Carries Most of the Value

The eTourist terms describe the core work plainly: check the information and documents you provide, correct common errors, prepare the application and send it. The company’s UK ETA page frames this as catching small slips, such as a mistyped passport number or a rejected photo, that can cost an applicant the fee.

Example. A traveler types the letter O where the passport shows a zero. On a direct application that error goes straight to the Home Office. Under a review model, a second reader has a chance to spot it first. (Illustrative scenario.)

The review is a check of what you supply. It cannot fix information that is wrong without anyone noticing, and the terms make you responsible for complete, accurate and current details.

Help Is Available Around the Clock

Support is one of the clearest differences from the government route, where ETA help is by webchat and there is no phone line for ETA questions. eTourist lists three channels, all described as open 24/7.

  • Live chat on the website, which the contact page says answers immediately
  • WhatsApp, named on the home page and the UK ETA page
  • Email at support@etourist.com, quoting your order number

Support covers the order while it sits with eTourist. Once the application is with the Home Office, nobody outside the government can change its pace, and GOV.UK tells direct applicants to contact UK Visas and Immigration if no decision arrives within 3 working days.

Who Runs It and Which Rules Apply

eTourist is the brand. The terms identify the operator as Travel Zoom LLC, a Delaware limited liability company registered at 1007 North Orange Street in Wilmington, in the United States. The terms are governed by Delaware law.

Two clauses are worth reading before ordering. The company’s total liability for an order is limited to the amount you paid for it, and you must provide complete, accurate and current information along with genuine documents.

Good to know. The terms in force when this article was checked were version 2.0, effective June 2026. The refund policy carries the same June 2026 date.

Your Data Is Shared for the Application and Little Else

An ETA application involves sensitive material, and the eTourist privacy policy is explicit about collecting it. That includes passport and travel details, payment information, and facial images and other biometric information.

QuestionWhat the policies say
Who receives itThe government as needed for the application, service providers, affiliates, a buyer if the business is sold, and authorities where the law requires
How long it is keptAs long as reasonably necessary, or as the law requires
Your rightsAccess, correction, erasure, restriction, objection and portability for EEA and UK residents
Who to contactprivacy@etourist.com

Note. The privacy policy was last updated on 19 September 2025, while the terms carry a June 2026 date. Policies change, so read the current versions before you order. This overview is general information, not legal advice.

What the UK ETA Service From etourist.com Does Not Do

  • It does not issue ETAs. Only the UK government does.
  • It does not influence the decision or guarantee an outcome.
  • It cannot promise a government processing time.
  • It cannot change an application once it has been sent.
  • It is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, any government.

Warning. Some eTourist marketing pages describe a full refund of the service fee if an application is denied. The refund policy dated June 2026 says a refusal is not grounds for a refund unless Denial Protection was purchased. Confirm what your checkout includes.

Paying Involves Two Separate Charges

The government fee for an ETA is £20 per person. eTourist shows it separately at checkout, collects it with the order and pays it to the government on submission. The service fee is the company’s own charge, and the terms say it is payable whether or not the government approves.

Denial Protection is an optional extra described in the refund policy. When purchased, it returns the full service fee if the government refuses the application. The £20 government fee is not recoverable after submission, with or without it.

Tip. The service fee was not listed on the public pages reviewed for this article. Compare the checkout total with £20, the cost of applying directly on GOV.UK.

Use It If, Skip It If

Use it ifSkip it if
You want a second person to check your detailsYou are confident filling in government forms
The UK ETA app will not work on your phoneThe app or the GOV.UK online form works for you
You value round-the-clock chat or WhatsApp helpGovernment webchat is enough
You are applying for several family members at onceKeeping the cost at £20 per person matters most

Either way, the decision comes from the same place. The service changes how much help you get on the way there, not the outcome.
